Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken while on a nature walk through the forest, this trail in particular has been the spot for many of my best photos.

Time

It was taken late afternoon if I remember correctly. Often I am forced to move on from a subject so I don't get in the way of those behind me, so I chose a time when I knew it would be relatively quiet.

Lighting

The sunlight reflecting is what was creating the beautiful colors, and sense I am unable to move the sun I tried many different angles as to catch the light best.

Equipment

I was waking for quite a while so I wanted to carry light, only my Canon Rebel XS.

Inspiration

Spider webs are fragile things and I knew this one, no matter how pretty, was no different. I wanted to preserve that beauty.

Editing

It already looked so good on its own I didn't want to mess around with it too much, I just upped the saturation a little bit.

In my camera bag

I really only ever carry my single camera, I'm a amateur and I like to snap pictures wherever and I have a camera bag on me at all times. My equipment stays at home, only taken when I know Ill need it.

Feedback

Luck, it was pure luck I came across something unique like this, my only advice is to always be on the look out and forget your camera.
