I was driving past a neighbor's farm on my way home from work. It was snowing hard, and I noticed the trails through the snow the cattle made as they moved toward the backside of the field where there would hopefully be more shelter. Only one cow remained motionless in the center of the field. And as I looked closer, I saw she was standing over her calf to shelter it from the falling snow...
