Location
I took this photo in Niagara Falls from the Canadian side of the falls, on a rainy afternoon while riding on a boat called"The Maid of the Mist"Time
The photo was taken at around 2:30 pm.Lighting
It was raining and mist was coming off of the falls. I had to have a wide open Aperture f/2.8 to capture any detail and at an ISO of 200 (which is the native ISO for the Nikon D4).Equipment
I shoot this with a Nikon D4 SLR, a nikkor 24-70mm lens at 31 MM Hand Held, no flash.Inspiration
I have always been attracted to water falls. This is one of the most famous Water Falls in the world. I wanted to get close and this was my chance to do so.Editing
I used Adobe Light Room to adjust the shadow and high light details in the photo. In my camera bag
