Behind The Lens
Location
This photo was captured from my home while I was sitting on my back patio.Time
I captured the photo on a late June afternoon around 5:00 pm.Lighting
The shot was taken just before the golden hour. The light was beginning to soften at that time of day.Equipment
I captured the photo with my Nikon Z7 II. with a Sigma 100 mm macro lens on an F mount to Z lens converter on the camera and camera mounted on my tripod using the monitor on back of the camera and a wired remote shutter release to prevent any camera shake in the photo.Inspiration
I spotted the lonely Rose that was all by it self and at an angle that got my attention. I thought that this will make a good macro shot.Editing
I always shoot in Raw format therefore I processed the file in Adobe Lightroom making some slight exposure adjustments. In my camera bag
I normally keep 2 camera bodies with at least 2 or 3 lens with 1 flash unit, extra batteries for the cameras and flash unit, extra SD cards, lens cleaners and wipes, a flash bracket and flash cord for off the camera flash use, a rain cover for the camera and lens in case there is an unexpected rain shower when I am out shooting, my business cards a note pad , pencils and pens.Feedback
Always be aware of the available light , foreground and background of what you are trying to capture. Take several shots from different angles to give you more choices to chose from for you image.
