Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo in Oregon, along the Columbia Gorge.

Time

Mid-afternoon

Lighting

I don't recall.

Equipment

Sony Nex-6, handheld.

Inspiration

The Columbia Gorge is a gorgeous stretch of craggy, rocky cliffs and a wide river. There are several places where you can pull off the highway for great views. While pulled off taking photos of the river, this truck pulling the old truck and tractor parked for awhile. Vintage, old and rusty always gets my attention....

Editing

I only used some sliders slightly. I used an in-camera HDR setting.

In my camera bag

A Sony Nex-6 with a 50-210mm lens and a Sony a6000. with 15-50mm lens. I carry a fish-eye and a 14mm lens also, along with a few extra batteries and memory cards.

Feedback

My only advice would be to think of everyday as a day to capture life in photos. I don't "go out shooting"........everyday I take my camera with me, and I am always thinking in terms of capturing a scene or an object that might just appear....
