Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo in my in-laws place in Pandeglang, Banten, Indonesia. cool place, located at the foot of the mountains, close to the fields. I love macro photography.

Time

This photo is one that I like. I remember when this photo was taken at 10 AM. typical mountain atmosphere is still cool. the sun shines bright enough, but not until the sting.

Lighting

This photograph using natural light. sunshine vague covered with shady trees. I use editing to make it more dramatic.

Equipment

I use a Nikon D200 with Tamron 90mm macro lens 1: 1 to get this photo

Inspiration

I want to see how this little animal shows interactions, so that if he gives a message to us. The best place taking photos like this in my opinion is in their habitat, in the open.

Editing

for editing, I was much more to improve the quality of light and contrast. I try to lighting focused on the frog and make the surrounding area a little darker

In my camera bag

when traveling, I always carry a lens Tamron 90mm f / 2.8 macro. apart from that I also bring Nikkon 18-70mm f / 3.5-4, nikon lens 35mm f / 1.8. Another addition is a ring flash. That is all.

Feedback

I took this photo alone. better if there was someone to accompany to facilitate the setting position of the frog. use leaves, trees or other natural things to make the picture more interesting. always try different positions and the composition will produce something different.
