As we are traveling southward from up north to visit family and friends down in warmer climes, we made a stop over in rural Maryland. When I opened the curtains in our guestroom, I nearly fell over! I ran out to the car (half dressed) to grab my gear and to make a few photographs. This fog only lingered for a short while before it burned off.

I just wanted to capture what I was seeing. Nature provided everything I needed at this moment.Equipment
Nikon D7000, Aperture f/5.6?ISO 250?Shutter 100/250000? Polarizing filter, Kit Lens and TripodInspiration
This image presented itself at daybreak. I often get up before sunset. In this case, I looked out the window and saw the sunrise and how it was creating beams of light in the distant woodland. I was attending an artist workshop and was busy video recording the class during the day and out making photographs early in the morning or in the evenings. The pay off is often worth getting up at 5 to see what there is to offer in terms of light and atmosphere.Editing

Nikon, kit lens, wide angle lens, telephoto lens and macro. Tripod.Feedback
My advise would be to get up early..before the birds. Have your gear ready along with your tripod if you want a sharp image. Take your time. Carefully consider your composition. Take your time. Look at the weather the night before. Make sure your battery is charged and your lenses are clean. Off you go!
