While holding a ceremony for a lost loved one a hawk feather appeared at my feet. Hawks hold a great deal of significance in my life, so I felt like this was a gift. It was fairly windy as the sun was setting over the Pilgrim Lake, the dunes and ocean beyond so I pulled out my camera which was in the car and held the feather in front of the sun and took this image.
