Thank you for joining my Senior Portraits Challenge! Great composition and a seriously beautiful moment that you caught, here. She looks really natural. One of my favorites.

Wonderful portrait! The lighting is perfect and the photo has good exposure. I think if you added a slight vignette, the subject would stand out even more. Also, cropping it slightly so the subject is in the left third of the frame moves the viewer's eye to focus on the subject, which is the girl. Very lovely photo!

Location
This was taken at a local park in my home town here in Pa. I was doing this shoot for my cousins daughter and she wanted something that reflected who she is, that's when I told her to not to pay attention to me but to just play her guitar.Time
It was early in the morning around 10 am, it was a bit cool that day but the light and the colors were just right,Lighting
this is all natural lightEquipment
Canon Eos rebel XSI, EF-S 55-250mm all the shots were hand heldInspiration
the best thing about this shot is that where i'm standing is almost always 4 feet of water but that day it was dry (witch I have never seen there before ) the other thing is that as a musician myself I was able to make her forget I was shooting by talking about music with herEditing
I use photoshop CS5 for my editing on this one I did some layers to clean up a bit of her hair, also the one big thing on this one is one of the hand rails behind her had duct tape wrapped around it so I cloned it out,In my camera bag
Oh boy lets see there is my Canon Eos rebel XSI, with the 18-55 kit lens ,an EF-S 55-250mm (love this lens) , also a 75-300mm as well , My Flash is a Sigma EF-610 DG Super, also always have my Canon PowerShot SX260 HS ( witch is pretty impressive for a point and shoot ), and course all the little things like filters and batteries, cables and remotes and I always carry a garbage bag (for rain protection )Feedback
one thing I would say is if you can find something to relate to with the subject to kind of keep the focus (pun intended ) off the camera you can get that more natural shot, we did a lot of shots that day and some just looked to stiff, the ones that came out the best were the ones I feel she was being herself.
