This photo I took in the stand up shower in my apartment. A model and good friend came over that day and I always wanted to shoot in that shower.Time
It was sometime in the afternoon but not really important to the picture as I blacked out the room completely and used strobes.Lighting
I used two studio strobes. Nothing fancy as I was playing with water, too and didn't want to risk anything. I darkened the whole room and put the strobes almost on full power. One came from behind and on from the front.Equipment
My Nikon D700 and a 50mm lens. Plus two basic studio strobes and a tripod.Inspiration
I had this idea in mind for quite a while. A mysterious looking photo behind glass with fog on it.Editing
I actually did a lot of post processing. But to be honest I would not know how to do it again. In the beginning it looked completely different and there wasn't as much fog as you see now at all. So I played around in Photoshop over a couple days until I was satisfied with the result. In my camera bag
My Nikon D700, a 20mm f2.8, 50mm f1.4 and a 70-300mm.Feedback
Have an idea in you head and try to make it happen. If it doesn't look like the picture you have in your mind just play around in Photoshop a little bit. But you should understand Photoshop. At least the basics.
