I like this entry a lot. The colors jump. It will always get my votes. On amore personal level, it bring back fond memories of my time teaching on the Navajo Reservation.

Location
This photo was taken at the Hopi House stage on he South rim of the Grand Canyon. We were there to watch Navajo dance exhibition by the Pollen Trail Dancers.Time
It was taken around 12:45 pm just prior to the show@ 1pm.Lighting
It was taken in natural lighting , and I made use of the shadow from the Hopi House to keep the light from being too harsh.Equipment
I used a Canon T3i camera with a 55-250mm zoom lens. F/7.1 ISO 100 Explorer 1/125Inspiration
I was inspired by the group of dancers, whom had worn the white paint that day to honor the death of the last of the Navajo Code talkers that day.Editing
The original photo was actually of the entire group of dancers, but something about this one dancer's attire and look led me to crop out all the others and save this image of just him.In my camera bag
I always pack my Canon T3i and a group of lenses that include an 18-55, a 55-200, a 100-400, a 24-105 and a 2x extender. And always extra battery packs and plenty of memory cards.Feedback
When viewing your photos always look deeper into the background and see if there is something special you need to highlight as I did with this dancer.
