Thanks - Columbus, actually. I was in town for an event my son was attending. I'd actually love to spend some time shooting stuff in town, though -- from what I've seen, it looks like a really interesting city.

Winter scene in the gorge at Conkle's Hollow, Hocking Hills region of OH.

This magnolia macro is lit from behind with a speedlight, turning the flower petals into a softbox.

A strobe at close range (HSS) illuminates the flower, allowing me to underexpose the background, so I was able to shoot without cutting the flower.
