Behind The Lens

Location

Under the Pier, Keansburg, New jersey.

Time

Between 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm.

Lighting

Although a bit cloudy there was plenty of natural sunlight on a summer day.

Equipment

My Nikon CoolPix 80 camera.

Inspiration

This fishing pier is very long. The underneath seems to go on and on infinitely. The patterns of the construction caught my eye.

Editing

Just cropped a bit, warmed up the color a little.

In my camera bag

My Nikon CoolPix 80 camera. Two batteries, the charger and a/c cord, and the usb cable for computer hook-up.

Feedback

I did my best to have a tight aperture to get a good depth of field, however to shoot at 1/125 I had to have it opened up a bit. Ideally, f 22 would have been nice but due to the cloudiness of the day and being under the pier it was not possible.
