The Hairy Bittercress or Cardamine Hirsuta is a member of the Mustard family and is an edible grassy weed that we have in abundance now that Spring is finally here, on a bank at the bottom of our garden, where grass meets woodland. The tiny white flowers are so pretty, and apparently the leaves have the distinct peppery taste that comes with foods of the mustard family. Now I know what it is, I might be tempted to try some in a nice Spring salad.
