Fraser river Current ebbing past the century old cannery pilings which supported the Brunswick cannery at the turn of the century. Once upon a time the pacific commercial salmon industry was the lively hood of aboriginal and European families that settled by the banks of the Fraser river and called their home Ladner, B.C. These pilings are the guardians of canoe pass, where the south arm of the Fraser flows out in to the gulf of Georgia strait. Brunswick point is a historical landmark and is a important stop over in supporting migrating birds on the north American flight path. Brunswick point, Roberts bank is now a world heritage site. Sponsored and protected by Ducks unlimited and managed by the municipality of Delta, B.C.
