It was direct sunlight, with a few clouds.

Nikon D90 with a 70-200mm f/2.8 lens on a monopod.

Inspiration

I was shooting a youth rally for the Denver Catholic Register and during a break I went out to enjoy the sunshine. I saw these deer and spent about 15 minutes shooting them.
