Thanks for Location info, Googled it and can not believe how close to a sprawling neighborhood is at your back. This is definitely the best view and this is a great nature shot. When you look at this you can feel the fresh aroma of a spring rain envelope you.

I lived about 3 miles from this site. Around 3 pm a storm rolled through, which always bring good light. So I drove over because the light always looks good here after a. storm.Equipment
Nikon D90, 18-70mm kit lens. Hand held.Inspiration
I had been trying for about 2 years to get a photo of the teepees with a rainbow, but always arrived to late or the angles didn't work. This day everything just clicked, 2 rainbows and the perfect angle and lighting.Editing
I cropped the image and tweaked the contrast a bit to pop the color. In my camera bag
2 Nikon D 90's, 70-200mm f/2.8 lens, 80mm f1.8 lens, 18-70mm kit lens.Feedback
Patience was key for this photo. I am very familiar with this area, and went over every time the conditions were good. I took many photos and played with settings so I feel that played a big role in capturing this image.
