The ruins of Fort Meyers located near Meyers Spring and now on protected ranch land. The fort was mostly in ruins by 1990 but is now being restored to its original state by the Rock Art Foundation of which I am a member. Most of the funds have come from the rancher owner. The fort had 15 single room adobe huts and two stone houses one this kitchen. After he retired Bullis lived in the fort for a time.
