.....a group of River Otters are headed in my direction ....they are almost 2 meters in length and veracious predators ....they were diving and swimming quite fast looking for food ....every 20 seconds one would have something like a small crustacean or small fish ....there were scouring the middle of the lake and lake shore it was amazing to see how proficient they are in the hunt .....no sooner had one caught something it would be gone in less than 2 seconds and it would be on for the next food item ....I was actually concerned about my safety and looking for an exit route when something caught there attention on the other side ....which is just a bit too far in the low light of the light rain
