I look all around me for something interesting to snap. As I am a fan of just about ALL animals of all types, I find a lot to take pictures of on any given day.
This is a Texas Spiny Lizard. As I walk my walkway, paved with flat concrete stepping stones, I occasionally find lizards hiding in the grass along the path. Many times they run off.
On this instance, this Spiny Lizard kept poking out of the grass and watched me as a walked back and forth from the car getting groceries into the house.
When I finished with them, I grabbed my camera and came out. Sure enough, he sat there and watched me as I got closer and closer with my HX-50B until I couldn't focus any closer.
He seemed as curious of the camera and myself as I was about him.
