Behind The Lens

Location

This image was part of an assignment for a auto magazine. The image is taken on a regular kinda boring reststop in Denmark

Time

Right before noon.

Lighting

The lightning was horrible, midday sun casting hard shadows. I placed the car so the sun was in front of it.

Equipment

I took this with a Canon Eos 90d and a 24mm pancake lens.

Inspiration

Money... nah i have always loved cars and had a shoot for a magazine with this specific Renault.

Editing

A-LOT of post processing went into this image. First of all the car was original light blue :-) second i lowered the contrast and exposure significant in the for and background to get the car to stand out added a little solar flare on the front right side of the image.

In my camera bag

I usually carry lenses ranging from 11mm and up to 200mm, a secondary backup camera if my main cam brakes down. A few sd cards and a tripod.

Feedback

When shooting cars ialways try to get as many angles as possible including detail shots. Even though you only need 5 or 6 images you shouldn't worry about taking 40 or 50 image's. Its better to have something to choose from than never getting the chance of a great shot again.
