Behind The Lens

Location

We were on vacation and planned to take some photos on the beach, we only had a couple of hours in that place, and it was about to rain, so quickly before the storm we went to the beach and used the dress to give it the mood we wanted , and a couple of clicks were enough to portray what our eyes and heart were watching

Time

This is one of my favorite photos, it was around noon, a time when I am not used to photographing, it was very cloudy and the light became wonderful, I had to take advantage of that magical opportunity

Lighting

That cloudy day was perfect, with that natural filter, it gave the appearance of intensity and summing up what I was looking for to tell this particular story.

Equipment

the photo was taken with my nikon d750 and sigma art 50, in natural light, without a tripod

Inspiration

Some time ago I started a personal project in which I tried to reflect the beauty that nature gives us, and how it is so important to realize that humans are part of that nature, that we need it, and therefore we must take care of it

Editing

Yes! My way of working takes post processing in Lightroom and Photoshop, I edit because it is a way to show, not only what I see, but also what I feel

In my camera bag

In addition to my camera, I usually carry a short or wide angle lens and a zoom lens. Lens cleaning supplies are never missing and plenty of memory cards, just in case

Feedback

Life gives us unique moments every day, we must be prepared, take the camera and be willing to quickly take it if necessary . Sometimes we can plan our session to look for what is our intention
