Behind The Lens

Location

RAF Cosford Air Show, UK.

Time

Early afternoon in June.

Lighting

The sun is still quite high in a cloudless sky.

Equipment

Nikon DSLR with an 80 to 200 mm lens hand held.

Inspiration

The plane, the look of the 'model' seemed evocative of the WW11 era it represented

Editing

Simple black and white conversion.

In my camera bag

I have two mid range Nikon DSLR crop sensor bodies, an 18-55 f2.8 wide angle zoom, a 28 to 120 mm mid range zoom and an 80 to 200 mm f 2,8 long zoom; 2 flash heads, a large diffuser, AA batteries, spare memory cards and camera batteries, radio transmitter and receiver, a light meter and circular polarizer ( both rarely used); a silver/white reflector; and other bits and bobs. Travelling light, I might dispense with the flash heads, and a spare body, and even the long lens.

Feedback

Be careful to frame well, avoiding 'present day' anomalies.
