Behind The Lens

Location

This was taken in the community room during a hobby and craft session

Time

this was taken in mid afternoon at the hobby and craft club I help organise

Lighting

Lighting was natural light from a window with vertical blinds light was adjusted by opening the blinds I was trying to demostrate how using the things around you can make a differance

Equipment

the camera was a panosonic TZ100 a small compact camera with a leica lens

Inspiration

We was having a hobby and craft afternoon and I was trying to demostrate photographic technique's to some aspiring photographers

Editing

Yes basic processing was done using paint shop pro and then into easy hdr to bring out some detail and then back to psp to darken the background

In my camera bag

I normally have my DSLR a Nikon D7100 with a 18-140 nikkor zoom and a sigma 10-20 wideangle plus cleaning clothes etc, on this occassion i used my little panosonic TZ100

Feedback

Yes definately think about your shot Look at the situation for this shot a tripod was out of the question to many people dancing lighting was poor so i had to use a flash gun , For all the Newbies and rising stars you are part of the viewbug community if you see something you like and want to know "how was that done" don't be frightened to ask
