Nice work, the flow of the light art in rhythm with the arch of the tower, well done

Location
I took this photo in Paris after walking 35 miles in two days. This was the last photo I took and I was just messing around with my home made light stick :)Time
This was taken around 1am in the morningLighting
The best advice for light painting is to have an idea before hand, find the location and just have fun with it. Long exposure photography can be so unpredictable that most of the time the image you had previously imagined won't materialise but something else will come from the idea.Equipment
I now use a Canon 5DSR for photos and a sony A7Sii for photos and filming. However most of my work was done on a Canon 7D until I upgraded recently.Inspiration
I did a "Path of the London tourist photo" earlier in the year and I liked the idea of trying to do the theme in every major city I visit. Im off to Barcelona next so hopefully there will be a part three to the series.Editing
I do all of my editing in Photoshop or Lightroom.. I think post production is equally as important as the photography for me. I love editing (almost more than photography sometimes)In my camera bag
I usually have to much stuff in my bag. I walk so far with it my feet hurt but its always worth it. I usually have cameras, various cheap lights from the £1 shop and a tripod.Feedback
If your learning photography, at the start, try to replicate other peoples styles as its the best way to learn. Then once you know your camera like the back of your hand, you will be able to develop your own styles and ideas. The main thing is just have fun.
