Behind The Lens

Location

The Boutique Photo Loft in Chicago, IL.

Time

We took this at night around 9 or 10pm

Lighting

This image was lit using an alien bee and one beauty dish aiming at the model

Inspiration

We were inspired by the elegant and vintage feel of The Boutique Photo Loft.

Editing

There was some skin retouching, sharpening, and color correcting of this image.

In my camera bag

I always have my Nikon d800, a 50mm lens, a wide angle lens, and extra batteries.

Feedback

This image was taken in a well lit room. We lit it with one beauty dish slightly off center to the model with the light pointing towards her face, it was at about 1/2 power, adjust the aperture and light intensity as needed.
