Behind The Lens

Location

I took this picture in my home-town, Bodegraven, a small town in the west of The Netherlands.

Time

In the early morning, I noticed this colour differences between the pink and green and was waiting for the right light and there had to be no wind for ideal reflection. This particular day I woke up, no winds and went there.

Lighting

I definitely wanted the reflections of the trees and the colour in the water, representing a serene image.

Equipment

The day before I bought a my new Nikon Z7 II, Nikkor Z 24-70 2,8 s. Actually, this was one of the first images I took with the new camera.

Inspiration

I am inspired by cherry-blossom in Japan, I think that's one nature's beauties, but since that is more than a 13 hour flight from here, I think this is a great alternative and very close to home.

Editing

This one was close to straight from my camera.I did minor adjustments to lights, highlights and colors.

My Nikon Z7 II, a 24-70 and 14-30, Peak Design Tripod and NiSi filters.
