Behind The Lens

Location

This image was taken at the end of the day during my last business trip to London, just before all the travel restrictions started, I booked a hotel near Lloyd's Building in the City of London. It's a reflection in the adjacent building of the Lloyd building, taken on 25th January 2020.

Time

At the end of the day before blue hour.

Lighting

What can I say, personally, blue hour is one of my favorite time of the day to shoot pictures, not so much as cityscape though.

Equipment

For this image I used my Nikon D850, AF-s 16-35 and Manfrotto travel tripod.

Inspiration

I love taking cityscape and architecture and I am fascinated by reflections. What better place to go than the City of London?

Editing

I have used Lightroom and Aurora HDR 2019

In my camera bag

I have a Nikon D850, 24-70, 16-35, NiSi filters, Platypod and a Manfrotto Travel Tripod when shooting cityscape.

Feedback

When you planning a citytrip, plan ahead by using Google, Viewbug (of course) to scan the area and make a schedule, so you don't have to worry about that when you there, so that leaves you more time for shooting.
