Behind The Lens

Location

This photo of Polly was taken inside. She was sitting on a rug which had similar colours to Polly. This is one of my favourite photos and I especially love her eyes.

Time

It was taken in the morning and luckily she was looking right at me. She's sometimes a little camera shy.

Lighting

The morning light is very beautiful in my house. The windows reflect the gorgeous trees outside.

Equipment

As I'm always horse riding, running and constantly active, and I mostly have my Samsung phone with me and it has a fantastic camera, I use that. In a perfect world i would use a camera with all the bells and whistles, but the world isn't perfect and most of my photos are taken when I see an opportunity and take it.

Inspiration

My dog was looking particularly beautiful so I immediately took her photo.

Editing

I gave the photo a little contrast (about 6 or 8%) to highlight her already wonderful colours.

In my camera bag

My Samsung phone.
