Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo in Taranaki, New Zealand, where our beautiful mountain is so close to the city and the beach. Mount Taranaki is so spectacular and everytime I see it, it takes my breath away.

Time

It had been a beautiful day and this photo was taken late afternoon, after spending the day horse riding. A perfect photo after a perfect day.

Lighting

I love the afternoon shade which highlighted the mountain beautifully.

Equipment

Because I spent my days riding my fabulous horse, my camera was, and still is, a samsung phone which lives in my pocket and is always on hand when opportunities arise.

Inspiration

I was inspired to take this photo because of the contrast of rural beauty and the spectacular and magnificent mountain.

Editing

I just made sure that the photo was level and maybe a very small amount of contrast, as it hardly needed any help and was already fabulous!

In my camera bag

Because I'm always on the go and need both hands for horse riding, gardening, interior decorating and more, I use my samsung note 20 ultra 5G. It's phenomenal.

Feedback

Always have your camera with you. You never know when you will have the opportunity of a lifetime for that perfect shot!
