This photo was take at Oakura Beach in Taranaki, New Zealand. It's a beautiful beach and great for riding horses.Time
It was late afternoon, and I was meant to be there with the other riders with my horse, Sonny Bill. But our son and his partner were with us so we took them to Oakura beach for an outing and just happened to be there when I saw my friends approaching us on their horses. I took quite a few photos as they rode towards us, and later rode away. The light was very strong but I was able to get a few great shots.Lighting
The light was strong with late low sun, but I managed to get some lovely shots.Equipment
I have an 8S Samsung phone which I carry with me everywhere, including on my horse, and it has a phenomenal camera. As I have it wherever I go, I come across so many photo opportunities; running with my dog, riding my horse, being in the country. I do own a beautiful Canon SLR camera but what a hassle it would be to lug it around on a horse or on a run!Inspiration
