Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in the field behind Arges river - Romania.

Time

Time take this photo at 19.40 at the afternoon

Lighting

I just used the natural light of the sun

Equipment

Nikon D5100, 55-200mm f9 1/1250 iso100 200mm. Camera was handheled so no tripod was used.

Inspiration

I saw this dragonfly, flying and landing on the grass. I photographed it from all sides . Then I saw the sun at the same height with dragonfly and I wanted to create a simple composition with the sun and insect. I experimented until I bunk them.

Editing

A little adjusting of levels in photoshop, cropping and an increase in the colour saturation

My equipment on the bag. 1. Nikon d5100 2. Nikkor 18-55 3. Nikkor 55-200 4. Sigma 135 f2.8 5. Triopod 6. Flash Pixel X800N 7. Accesories (Filters, Reflector, Clamps etc. )

Feedback

Stay close to the ground and be creative. I constantly search for a new angle, a new perspective to the subjects I am inspired by. You need a macro lens.
