Any idea what kind of flower this is? Where did you take the pictures? State? National Park?

Location
This photo was taken when I was taking a coffee in a beach bar! There was a small garden area that was next to this just off the beach and I noticed this flower, on it's own, more or less and thought how beautiful it looked - time for my camera!!Time
It was about 4pm in the afternoon.Lighting
It was a warm day, but windy and the sky was leaden grey, making the whites, greens of my surroundings glow with the beautiful light that was created by the clouds and the small rays of light coming through where possible.Equipment
I used my Nikon D5200 and a 55mm-300mm lens, no tirpod.Inspiration
The light of the day was my inspiration andof course my subject.Editing
Basic post-processing was done with a basic editing programme. In my camera bag
My camera, 2 lenses, cleaning equipment, spare batteries and a remote.Feedback
It had a great deal to do with light on that day. Overcast grey skies with patches of light coming through the clouds usually gives great light and make colours apprear more vibrant than usual. Time of day and lighting conditions are the key to taking a photo like this.
