We could all use one of these in our back yards!!! Just the tranquility alone of the setting is healing!

I love the colors - turquoise and mauve, also the contrast between the shear sheet of water vs the solid rocks.

Was this what Pose de Leon was looking for? well, you found it. But it is one thing to find it and another thing to capture and you did that .

Location
I took this photo in Southern Spain. A beautiful place called Fuente de Algar (Font d'Algar).Time
It was mid afternooon from what I can remember and I had to balance my tripod on a small rock and lean around a small corner. It was my first time trying long exposure, so I was over the moon with the result.Lighting
The light was perfect that day, not too harsh and limited contrasty to deal with - thank goodness!!! lol.Equipment
I used my Nikon D5200 and I think my 55-300mm Nikkor Lens. I also had my camera backpack with batteries, cleaning cloths/tissues, remote( which I used) and other lens. A tripod was used for this image.Inspiration
I love this place and have always wanted to get a great photo of it. I had previously, but not with slow exposure. It's a peaceful place to visit and you can swim in the cool/COLD waters and even swim beneath the waterfall - it's a place ideal for relaxation, swimming, walking and of course a great place to take your camera.Editing
I did very little post-processing - a slight adjustment to contrast, saturation, etc., but that's all.In my camera bag
I normally have my lenses, cleaning kit, 3 spare batteries and my remote. My tripod comes with me, but over the shoulder!Feedback
Visit the area you are want to shoot beforehand at different times of day, to see the different light conditions. Explore differnt points of view and find a good place to put your tripod where you won't get shake and there is a good surface. Use a remote to eliminate shake also. Take your time, take lots of different shots and bracketing shots is useful. Enjoy yourself and have fun....
