I shot this at the famous Pier 39 in San Francisco, the seagull flying into the scene was the perfect touch. In this photo encased in fog you can view the tip of the Golden Gate bridge and the top of the SS JEREMIAH O'BRIEN Liberty Ship.

I took this Photo at Pier39 in San Francisco.Time
It was foggy, but if I remember it was probably late afternoon.Lighting
This was just natural midday light, filtered by the fog and overcast day.Equipment
I shot this with a Canon 5D Mark II, 50mm Lens, Aperture: f/8.0 ISO: 400 Exposure: 1/1250Inspiration
I just loved how the fog was enveloping everything in the scene. The seagull was a conscious part of the shot. I only got a few shots with a seagull flying through. This image was the one that I felt the seagull looked its best.Editing
Just converted to black and white in Lightroom. In my camera bag
I usually have my tripod, Canon 5d Mark II, Canon 17-40L and Canon 70-200L F4. Also lately I have been using my Fuji Xpro1 and 35mm prime. I have more Cameras and lenses, but this is the stuff I have in my bag ready to go when I head out.Feedback
Just remember when it's foggy and overcast, there is still plenty out there to capture. And weather conditions can really add another dimension to your photo.
