Location
The photo was taken in the Bardenas Reales Natural Park in Navarra, Spain. In the geological formation known as the earth castle.Time
The photo was taken at 4 o'clock in the afternoon, in early October.Lighting
Although it was not the best time of the day to take pictures, as the sun was a little low because of the date, and looking for the sun to fall laterally on the motif, I got some lateral shadows that highlighted the relief.Equipment
For this photo I used the Olympus OMD E-M1X, with the M.zuiko 7-14 f.2/8 at 7mm, with a Manfrotto tripod.Inspiration
Inspiration came from the place itself, with many curious geological formations and many reliefs.Editing
Yes, after the relay in capture one, I passed it to photoshop to edit it a little bit and turn it to black and white. In my camera bag
As Olympus is a brand with relatively small equipment, I usually carry a lot of equipment with me: 2 camera bodies, currently the OM System OM1 + the Olympus OMD E-M1X, along with the M.zuiko 7-14mm f2.8, 12-40mm f2.8, 40-150mm f2.8, the 150-400mm f4.5 telephoto lens and the 60mm macro, plus 2 converters and several filters.Feedback
As always the main thing is the light, look for the best time of the day, (although in my case as I said it was not the best) either in the morning or in the afternoon. Try to look for the position where the sun helps the photo (in this case to highlight the reliefs) and if possible with a tripod the better.
