Location
At a restaurant somewhere in Arizona on the way to Monument Valley.Time
Peter MacDonald, Sr. one of the last surviving Navajo Code Talkers from World War II spoke to our group and had lunch with us, the time was around 2 PM.Lighting
Available light. As you can see the light in the restaurant was mixed, I had Mr MacDonald sit at a table next to a large window. The day was overcast.Equipment
I shot this with my pocket camera the SONY RX 100 IV. 1/50 sec. at 2.8, ISO 400, hand held.Inspiration
Mr MacDonald was kind enough to sit for this photo, I wanted to have a photo of this true American hero.Editing
In Lightroom I pulled down highlights and shadows to minimize the distracting BG and added a bit of clarity. In my camera bag
I have a Sony a6500, A7II and the RX 100IV. Lenses include the Sony 18-135 3.5-5.6, 10-18 f4, 24-70 f4, 70-200 f4, 24 f1.8 Zeiss, 35 f1.8 and 20 f2.8Feedback
Look for the best light and take advantage of it.
