I had always heard this was a great spot and I'm glad I got there when I did because there were a lot of other photographers as well. I also moved around to find the right composition. Many of the other photographers stayed put.Editing
I try to do as little as possible but the fires in British Columbia caused a lot of smoke the week I was there and it was actually clear at sunrise that morning. I had to dehaze many of the photos I took that week.In my camera bag
Nikon D 600 with 14-24mm lens. Tamron 150-600 (for wildlife) and my Sony Alpha 6300 with 24-240mm lens.Feedback
Know the weather and where the sun is going to hit your subject if shooting at dawn or dusk. On this trip we had to forecast for smoke and haze as well.
