Nikon D600 with a cord and tripod.Inspiration
I was with a group and we were looking for unique vantage points within the park. We chose a formation called The Fins.Editing
I did a little with the color curve, highlight and clarity. In my camera bag
I always have my Sony NEX 7 but I don't like it for night shots as much as my Nikon D600. For night shoots I use my Nikkor 2.8 14-24 lens. My every day lens is the 24-70 but for wildlife I use my Tamron 150-600.Feedback
You really need to know where the Milky Way or moon is going to rise. For best results for stars, you don't want to have a full moon. Star photos are great but I find that the photo is more interesting with something in the foreground or background.
