We were all hoping for a magical sunset in this iconic place in Iceland, but the colours were not very impressive... at least I got a beautiful white horse walk in my shot, or is that a unicorn?

Location
This photo is shot in a famous place in Iceland - next to Kirkjufell mountain.Time
We were hoping for an epic sunset, but it didn't really happen.Lighting
The lighting was nice winter coloured sunset. It's always best light... kind of a bllue hour.Equipment
I used Canon EOS 6D, tripod - benro, Sigma lens around 12mm, no flash, no filters.Inspiration
In fact I was just taking photos of the mountain with the frozen waterfalls when I saw that there was a horse entering my frame. And not just a horse - a white horse. With the pinkish sunset, it almost makes you think of the unicorn...Editing
I added a bit of saturation, a whole bunch of sharpness in photoshop. Brought in some shadows. In my camera bag
For that trip my buddy photographer's equipment was Canon EOS 6D, mostly 12-24 mm Sigma lens until I smashed it (not even gloriously at some waterfall, but in the bus). Also 24-70 L Canon lens which is your usual photo buddy if you made it to the next level... it was constantly foggying on the inside though and annoying me profoundly. These days I am a Fujifilm XT-2 shooter with 10-24 Fujinon lens... and for some dramatic angles I have rokinon 8mm lens.Feedback
Well, you know how every photo is better with some additional element in it... like birds flying by, horse, deer... those things don't happen by request. You just have to wait and hope that they will show up at some point. Be patient!
