I love the natural photo's of humans and animals.. Beautiful photo. I'm just not feeling the one's where they add a beautiful woman wearing a ton of makeup in long dresses cuddling an animal. Great job..

Location
This was taken in my dad's backyard in Delray, Florida where we like to reconnect with the family and retreat away from work.Time
This was mid-day probably around 3pm to 5pm cause we had not had dinner as of yet.Lighting
The lighting was direct sun with every now and then a cloud to give an overcast shot.Equipment
I used a Canon 60D with a Canon 400mm hand held.Inspiration
I am always inspired to take photos, but this particular day I found myself with a very rambunctious doggy. So instead of taking photos of wild life I found myself taking pictures of him 'Buddy' instead.Editing
I cropped, played around with the contrast a little and sharpened the image. Then I always use Neat Image to smooth out any noise from sharpening just in case there is some. I am self taught photographer so I am still learning and have much to learn about post-processing.In my camera bag
I take my camera with me all the time and I usually have my camera (Canon 60D) with two lens Canon 24-70mm and a 400mm I also have a 10x filter lens just in case I want to dabble in micro.Feedback
Enjoy it! For this picture I had a 400mm so I was standing far away, on motion camera option and auto focus. So keeping a good distance allowed me to catch the depth and motion that I did. The background just happened and was not planned, but that is the beauty of photography. I knew I wanted to capture my dog running, but did not expect my daughter to naturally hug her dad. I think the magic of photography is a mixture of planned and unplanned moments. Plan to take photos, be equipped and let the magic begin and go with the flow. You just never know what twists of lighting, animals or moments will just pop out of thin air to give your photo that magical touch :)
