Too early lol! It was taken during sunrise at about 7amLighting
I used two Lee filters. One 3 stop full nd and another 3 stops degrade.Equipment
Canon 60D, Tamron 10-24mm, Lee filters, tripod and luck!Inspiration
I woke up early on Saturday morning, and decided "what the hell, let's take some Pictures " . Most important is the pleasure of being there and seeing first hand a perfect sunrise. Better still is capturing it.Editing
I always do some post processing. Spot cleaning and such. But sunrises are best left as they are seen.In my camera bag
Camera (sometimes two), my trusty 10-24 and 24-70 from Tamron, my canon 70-200 f4 (always handy for taking pictures after the sunrise), a simple cable trigger, cleaning cloths (a must) , spare batteries and cards ( learned the hard way) .Feedback
Be prepared to go to the same spot time and time again. The perfect sunrise is always the next one! If possible go during the day to scout for the best and most interesting spots and check the tides and weather before hand . Both will make a huge difference on the end result. Be prepared for frustration and rejubilation!
