Location
A property in an Australian country town called Gravesend in NSW.Time
In the early afternoon on an overcast dayLighting
It was a very overcast day so there wasn't a great deal of natural light, only having a pop up flash that can be too strong on the subject, so I lowered my shutter speed just enough to get Lucy mid run with some motion blur.Equipment
I used my canon 600D camera and 18-55mm lens also canon.Inspiration
Having a new pup on the scene is always exciting for you and the pup. Lucy was full of beans and I wanted to capture her in her glory pup stage.Editing
I edited this image so there was a slight HDR effect like upping the contrast, limiting shadow ect, along with cropping and other minor adjustments such as sharpening. I used photoshop elements to edit this image. In my camera bag
Both canons 600D and 1100D, my favourite 18-55mm and my tamron 70-300mm and of course my trusty old tripod given to me by my pop, along with some cleaning gear.Feedback
Making yourself the same height or lower then the animal can get some interesting shots, but remember to stay patient and be as creative as you can.
