Location
This photo was taken at what is called Forrest Gump point, on route 163, Arizona USA.Time
It was around 8:30am, I stopped on my way back to Phoenix from Moab Utah. It was a cold morning in November.Lighting
Lighting was beautiful, almost clear skies, some clouds in the distance, I wanted to get there earlier but couldn't make it, although I loved the lighting at this hour.Equipment
For this photo my camera was on a Manfrotto 190x tripod, Canon 5DMkIII, the lens was my 70-200mm 2.8, It is a combination of 7 images shot vertically and stitched in photoshop on a panorama.Inspiration
Well, the monuments, it is hard not to be inspired by them. I also loved the straight road to them.Editing
Yes, it was a total of 21 images, 3 bracketed exposures per vertical shot and then stitched in photoshop. In my camera bag
For this trip i took a lot, 2 Canon bodies (5D3 and 6D), lenses: 70-200mm 2.8, 24-70mm 2.8, 24-105mm 4, 15mm 2.8, 16-35mm 2.8, 50mm 1.4, 85mm 1.8, tons of filters, batteries, cards, 2 Manfrotto tripods, 3 speedlights, and other things.Feedback
Go explore, plan for what you want to get, research and ask other photographers, I use some apps for sunlight, sunrise and sunset, star positioning, etc.
