Behind The Lens

Location
This photo was taken in Downtown Houston.
Time
It was an early Sunday morning, the best time to get the city almost empty.
Lighting
The lighting was all natural, a strip of sun light was coming between two buildings and i used that as an only source, you can see the light on the ground below the dancer.
Equipment
My camera was a 5DmkIII, lens 70-200 F2.8, handheld, no flash.
Inspiration
We wanted to get some urban backgrounds, there were a few places we loved in the city, you can check more at www.danielangulo.com
Editing
I didn't do much, maybe a little bit of levels and contrast, the photo didn't need much.
In my camera bag
In my bag, well it depends on what i'm doing, for this shoot i had 2 bodies 5DmkIII and a 6D, 70-200mm 2.8, 50mm 1.2, 85mm 1.4, 24-70mm 2.8, canon flashes, magmods, gels, i don't think much more.
Feedback
Get out there and shoot, find local dancers, ask if they would pose for you. Do some research on spots you want to visit, check them at different times of the day, etc. But most importantly, get out there and shoot.
