Behind The Lens
Location
This was taken in Kananaskis Country Alberta Canada.Time
This was taken during the golden hour and in winter it gets dark early. This was around 3 pm.Lighting
I love this time of the day when the lighting is soft and gold.Equipment
I used my tripod and a small aperture to help catch those sharp rays through the trees.Inspiration
My inspiration came from the theme of the week during my 365 day project.Editing
I usually do minor adjustments in ACR such as bringing up the contrasts a bit and lowering the highlights. In my camera bag
On this day I only brought my 16-35 mm lens attached to my D800 and my tripod because I knew what kind of image I wanted to capture.Feedback
A tripod is your best friend when using a small aperture, it helps to eliminate camera shake when using a longer shutter speed.
