Location
Photo was taken in the studio.Time
8.37pm - not that it is relevant.Lighting
I used an overhead strip light that I normally used for highlighting hair as the main. A reflector front left, and a snoot on a strobe for the seamless paper background.Equipment
Canon 5D Mark II and EF 24-70 f2.8L USMInspiration
Angus has many great ideas, and I wanted to capture an enlightenment vibe in his photo.Editing
Yes, unfortunately, He had a major skin out break. The photo borders on over processed IMO, but it was necessary to clean it up.In my camera bag
I mainly shoot Nikon, and Canon brands. I have many bags, and many lenses. (both brand specific AF lenses, and Manual Nikkors which I can use on both brands), adapters, tubes, CF & SD cards, flash, etc.Feedback
Start with a single light source (artificial or natural), and add a reflector as a second light to give a good light to shadow ratio of lighting. Paint with light, and paint with shadow - it is what adds depth to an image.
