Thank you for liking this photo. The haziness in the air is from a huge wildfire burning closer to Vancouver at the time this was taken. I was farther northeast on a train headed home to Ontario. All the smoke traveled as far east as Jasper and Banff at that time and as far north as Prince Rupert so it was fairly wide spread. That is the blue haze you see in the photo.

This mountain is huge and beautiful and going by it , it makes one feel small. It is said to be about fourteen thousand feet high if not more.

I remember seeing these types of trains when I was a kid.Beautiful.

British Columbia Rockies and lake. The lake was really calm. This picture reminds me of tiger stripes or a tiger pelt.
