Awe! That's so nice of all of you to like my photo's. Thank you very much. I am still learning though. It is odd how I got interested in this. I got interested in photography simply by looking at other photographers photo's and it finally occurred to me how their eye's were seeing. I had an idea to try the same thing. Believe it or not, it was on Facebook. A father was showing his daughter with down syndrome how to do photography because he was well known for it and she ended up being even better at it then he was, which was great. I learned so much from looking at their work. It was amazing.

Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken at the Train station in Jasper Alberta Canada. I was just on my way back from the west coast. I was visiting my twinsister for the last time. We lived 4,000 miles from each other and we were identical twins. It would be the last time I saw her. My sister Mary lived in Prince Rupert British Columbia Canada. Right on the coast.

Time

I was on my way back home from Prince Rupert British Columbia Canada and arrived in Jasper Alberta around 9-10 am in the morning. The sun was already to the east of us. We were waiting at the train station for the train that was headed east to Ontario. I took this photo as the train had just pulled into the station. It wasn't time to bored the train yet so I took this photo of it cause I liked the view of the angel of the train with the mountains as a backdrop. I couldn't resist the opportunity.

Lighting

The time was around 9-10 am in the morning so the sun was east of us.

Equipment

I was using my Cannon zoom 20x. I was the tripod. There was no need for a flash as it was already a sunny morning. The sky was clear.

Inspiration

The scenery is what inspired me to take this shot because it was the last time I would travel out west. It was also the last time I would see my twin sister. I wanted a memento of that visit.

Editing

I didn't do any processing at all. The camera did the work. I just chose the scenery that was there.

In my camera bag

Just my cannon was all I had on me at the time I took this photo. That and my suitcase!

Feedback

Just start taking photo's; use your camera and don't be shy about it. Capture time!
