Behind The Lens

Location

This is from Heritage State Park in Holyoke,MA

Time

I had decided to take a walk so around 2pm.

Lighting

The lighting was perfect and it was a nice spring day , barely any clouds.

Equipment

This is from my old camera, I don’t remember but I think it was a t3 canon? I didn’t use flash. I like working with more natural lighting. I’m simple, I also work with budget photography to show people you can still do amazing photos with budget friendly equipment.

Inspiration

I love nature. I especially love flowers. I was born in May, so right where all the flowers are blossoming in full force or already bloomed. Spring is one of my favorite seasons, I just love how new everything feels.

Editing

I used Lightroom to change the lighting a bit then went to photoshop to add some layers to make the nearly sephia tone of effect it has. This was so many years ago I forgot.

In my camera bag

Right now I have a canon rp mirrorless , a canon t6is — I have seven different lenses , two telescope of different ranges, and four portrait along with one macro. I use and adapter since these lenses aren’t for the rp camera but it works.

Feedback

Manual mode, for the Lens. I literally stood there shifting the Lens until I got the perfect blur effect I wanted. Have patience, and take photos of everything. Practice depth of field. And don’t be afraid to play with photoshop actions and light room presents!
